KPMM
is named after late Mr. K.P. Mathew, who lost his life
in 1966, due to inadequate medical facilities. KPMM
had a humble beginning in 2002 It is the first professionally
run exclusive centre for physiotherapy in the city of
Cochin. At KPMM, we work to popularise Physiotherapy
and its application among the masses. A portion of our
income is set apart for charity.

is a convenient domiciliary gait training option. Located
at Palarivattom, with close proximity to the city center
as well as the National Highway and Vyttila junction,
the clinic is easily accessible from reputed hospitals
like Ernakulam Medical Center, Lakeshore Hospital, Specialist
Hospital, etc. The centre has the best library facility
with international books and DVDs on medicine, exercises,
aerobics, etc.

Team
KPMM Physiotherapy Clinic is the initiative of Dr. Tiji
Mathew Thomas (PT). A pioneer in implementing innovative
systems in the field, Dr. Tiji started his professional
career in Physiotherapy, after graduating from Lisie
Medical Institutions, a part of the 1200 bedded super
specialty Lisie hospital, at Ernakulam. An expert professional
and an innovative entrepreneur, Dr. Tiji, has devoted
his experience and creative abilities, to provide the
patients with the latest international facilities in
Physiotherapy, by making it available locally at KPMM.
Before starting his dream venture, he worked with several
renowned institutions like Malankara Orthodox Syrian
Christian Medical mission Hospital, Kolenchery, Ernakulam,
(renowned medical college], Padmashree Group of Institutions,
Bangalore and Krishna Hospital, Cochin. Presently Dr.
Tiji is the consultant Physiotherapist at Welcare Hopsital,
Lakeshore Hospital City Centre, Vyttila, Cochin. He
is also actively involved in CME programmes so as to
be up to date with the latest trends in the field.
Today, KPMM Physiotherapy Clinic offers state-of-the-art facilities in pain relief, healing and rehabilitation, under Dr. Tiji Mathew Thomas. He is assisted by his wife Dr. Mrs. Renjitha Itterah, who is also into the same profession. She has worked in prestigious institution like National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences[NIMHANS], Bangalore,St James Hospital,Chalakudy Trichur and Little Flower Hospital, Angamaly. Dr. Mrs. Renjitha co-ordinates the women’s health programmes at KPMM. |
